It was such a pleasure to be the celebrant for Jai & Mel. This wedding was a long time coming after a couple delays due to Covid plus a few obstacles along the way, but we got there. What a wonderful relaxed wedding it was! Congratulations Jai & Mel.

It's looking like the wedding industry is getting back on track ;-)

Facebook has changed notifications for all groups again. They have automatically switched members of many groups to receive "Highlights" instead of all post. This means you will only see about 1 in 10 posts on the group you're in. To change these settings go to the group page ( you may have to do this for every group you're in) then;
1, click the 3 dots on the top right of the group page.
2. click manage notifications.
3. change from "Highlights" to all posts.
You may want to pass this onto groups you are in

Just received this wonderful email from a couple I had the pleasure to marry 2 weeks ago. It was very touching.

An interesting study.

This comes at no great surprise but how are such things measured? When couples complete their Notice of Intended Marriage, the information they provide eventually makes its way to the Australian Bureau of Statistics. Lots of data is taken from the forms and various statistics make their way into the public domain in due course.
