The new Certificate IV in Adult Tertiary Preparation commences 9 July 2012 for international students needing to complete a foundation course for entry into James Cook University or who have not completed Year 12 and wish to study a Diploma at Tropical North Queensland TAFE.

Certificate III in Tourism (Retail Travel Sales) starts 9 July 2012. This course can also be packaged with the Diploma of Tourism for students who would like to study in Cairns for one year.
