Today, our wonderful Year 2 cohort enjoyed an exciting excursion on the Kuranda Railway! This experience linked with their Term 2 History unit, People and Places of Significance.

Students learned about the construction of the railway line, the workers involved, and the important role the railway continues to play.

A big thank you to our Ms Harney, Mrs Murphy, Mrs Wood and Ms McCombe and parent volunteers for supporting the students on this sunny day in Far North Queensland!

Yesterday, our school leaders took part in the Student Voice Forum alongside students from schools across the Cairns Diocese. It was a valuable opportunity to connect, reflect, and share perspectives on what it means to belong to a Catholic school community.

Students were encouraged to listen thoughtfully and speak with confidence as they explored important topics, including Catholic Identity, First Nations Education, and Relationships Education.

We extend our thanks to our School Leaders and Miss McGuinness for proudly representing our school.
