What a busy Naidoc week we have had with the children engaging in many activities, today to end the week each room paricipated in a cooking experience to share at lunch. We made Damper, scones, sausage sizzle and Sop Sop 😊

The Junior Kindy children have been very inquisitive about their fish tank over the last couple of days. We have added some new friends to our tank and the children have been having fun watching the fish interact, being fed and trying to count them before they all swim away!

Today we had a visit from Talia from Roaming Wild. The children were able to get an up close encounter with many native Australian animals including a snake, blue tongue lizard, bearded dragon, sugar glider, tawny frog mouth, crocodile, and sugar glider!

Today the Kindergarten children went on an excursion to White Rock State School to help celebrate their Under 8's Day!
The children had an amazing time and had the opportunity to try many different activities and were even treated with a cupcake!

The Nursery Educators have been working endlessly over the past weeks to create an environment that promotes connectiveness, a sense of belonging, inclusion and security.
The end product is one of joy, passion and love that is evident when you walk in the room.

Today we celebrated Mabo Day in style with our annual cultural banquet lunch!
We decided to take it outdoors this year so we created a make shift hut and ate some amazing food from all cultures, courtesy of our amazing Dream Team Educators! 😘

For National Sorry Day, the children have created 'track home feet' which symbolises the journey home for the stolen generation and the journey of healing that the stolen generation survivors embark on.

To celebrate National Reconciliation Week, the children and staff created their very own rainbow serpent to display in the foyer! The children used a variety of mediums from paint, rice, wool, glitter, crepe paper and much much more 😆
