Sunshine Day Care Centre

Dear Parents Guardians,


As many of you are aware the centre has been for sale for quite a while now.


We first opened our centres doors in 1993 on the 27th of February and have worked here through till 2024, I am coming to an end of an era within my life and now is the time for me to kick back, relax and enjoy time with my family.


It comes with great sadness to advise that the centre has officially been sold.

The new owners are commencing as of the 9th of December 2024.

Between now and then there may be some changes within the centre.

The centre will be rebranded and renamed to

First Steps Early Childhood Learning Centre.

I can assure you that all staff are staying on board at the service and Amy will continue the role as the director.


I have enjoyed every moment here at Sunshine Day Care Centre, working alongside all the wonderful educators and children. Watching each one of them grow into little adults.

I am forever grateful for your ongoing support and will miss each one of you.

If you haven’t already filled a form out, the ladies will have spare forms for you to fill out.

If your child is not booked in for the day and you would like photos taken please come in between 8:00am & 10:00am.

Today is Early Childhood Educators Day today,
we recognises and celebrate the work of Australia’s educators in early learning services for the important role they play in supporting children’s wellbeing, learning and development in the early years.

It’s a chance to say a very big thank you to Australia’s Early Childhood Educators on a very personal level by service operators, families and their children, as well as collectively at the state and national levels.

To show the Educators our appreciate, we organised a delicious lunch platter along with some sweets, coffee, tea and gift cards!!
To thank them for the fantastic work they do each day your work doesn’t go unnoticed and is very much appreciated each and every day!! 💗

We were also gifted a beautiful rose 🌹 each by one of our lovely family members 💞
