Use this handy calendar to check when your child can start kindy, and be sure to approach your preferred kindy early about enrolment as many services have waiting lists.

Kindy is free 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year.

Children have the right to know about their rights, have their voices heard, and be treated with dignity, fairness, and respect. When children understand their rights, they are better able to speak up, participate in decisions that affect them, and help create communities where every child is valued and protected.

Children’s Rights Alliance and Children’s Rights Queensland are calling for nominations of people and/or organisations who work to educate others about children’s rights and help make a positive difference in the lives of children and young people.

It might be you, your neighbour, or the local librarian… Whoever they are, why not nominate them and recognise a Children’s Rights Champion today!
