Ergon Energy/ BLA -Young Leaders Breakfast
On Friday 29 May, Year 11 SRC representatives Mia, Amy, Makayla and Poppy attended the Ergon Energy/BLA Young Leaders Breakfast, where they heard from inspiring young leaders making a difference across the region. Each speaker shared their leadership journey, offering valuable insights into the challenges they faced and lessons they learned.
A key message was that leadership is built through hard work, stepping outside comfort zones, and learning from both success and failure. The experience was both inspiring and timely, providing our students with valuable guidance as they prepare to take on greater leadership roles within the College.

Congratulations to all of our CISSA teams! 🏆
What an incredible day at yesterday’s Grand Finals! Our students represented St Monica’s with unity, strength, determination and heart, doing themselves and the College proud.
We are delighted to share that St Monica’s was awarded both the Overall Girls School Champion title and the Overall Combined School Champion title alongside St Augustine’s, an outstanding achievement!🏆🏆🏆
Our Volleyball and Netball teams celebrated well-deserved victories, while our Soccer, Touch Football and Basketball teams played in thrilling, closely contested matches, narrowly missing out after some nail-biting finishes.
A huge thank you to our committed coaches - Ms Wollin, Mr Sloan, Mrs Hains, Mrs Griffin, and Ms Anthony - for their dedication, encouragement and hard work throughout the season. These successes would not have been possible without your support.
Well done to all involved! 💙
