Over the weekend lecturers from CQU Conservatorium of Music along with musicians from the First Royal Australian Regiment joined students from around the region for QREP hosted by Saints. Students formed four bands to workshop and rehearse for the concert on Sunday afternoon. It was a brilliant weekend of music making and learning with many new friendships formed along the way. The concert was a wonderful showcase of talent and enormously entertaining. Our sincere thank you to the staff of both CQU and 1RAR for their generosity and guidance of our students throughout the weekend.

Our triennial event, Belshazzar’s Feast was a remarkable celebration of music, collaboration, and talent, uniting students, staff, families, and schools from across the Diocese.
From the primary and secondary school choirs to dance, hand bells and big band, our schools demonstrated the rich variety of quality arts education across the Diocese.
A sincere thank you and congratulations to the dedicated music staff, performers, and members of the Cairns music community whose passion, commitment, and generosity made this unforgettable evening possible. The opportunity for students to perform within and alongside an orchestra was special.
Special congratulations to our Music and Arts staff from St Augustine's and St Monica's as well as the amazing teachers from Holy Cross, St Andrew's Catholic College and Newman Catholic College for putting together an unforgettable evening of excellence.

Anzac Dawn Service at the Esplanade. Members of the College Choir sang the hymn and the national anthems of New Zealand and Australia beautifully. Accompanied by Cairns Brass, it was once again an honour to perform this community service for such a beautiful commemoration of our servicemen and women.
