It’s with great sadness that we post this…Lennox is 15mths old and him and his brother attend care within our service…

Unfortunately Lenny has been diagnosed with Cancer and the family have now had to go to Brisbane so they can start the process of treatment. The family has a very hard road ahead of them… I understand everybody is struggling at the moment but if you could spare any $ it would be greatly appreciated as it will take a little pressure of the family….

Bianca, Jacob and Koa we are with you all the way and wishing you all the very best on the hard journey ahead of you guys…

We are seeking a Coordinator / Compliance Mentor to support our Family Day Care educators across North Queensland. This rewarding role is ideal for a motivated professional who is passionate about early childhood education, compliance, and supporting educators to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.

About the Role

As a Coordinator / Compliance Mentor, you will work closely with Family Day Care educators to ensure compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, the National Quality Framework (NQF), and service policies and procedures.

This position requires regular travel throughout the region, including Cairns, Weipa, Townsville, and surrounding communities.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct educator monitoring, support, and compliance visits.
* Monitor educator compliance with legislative and service requirements.
* Provide guidance, mentoring, and professional support to educators.
* Assist with quality improvement planning and continuous improvement processes.
* Participate in after-hours visits and meetings as required.
Essential Requirements
* Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (minimum qualification).
* Demonstrated knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations, and National Law.

Experience in Family Day Care, Long Day Care, or Early Childhood Education and Care.
Current Driver's License and willingness to travel extensively.
Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain).
