HUMANITIES | The College proudly competed in the Griffith University High School Mooting Competition in Brisbane, entering three teams in the criminal law-focused event. Our students performed exceptionally well, with St Augustine’s securing first place overall against strong competition from some of Queensland’s leading schools. The team’s success was further highlighted by several individual speaker awards with Leon obtaining 3rd place for overall individual speaker and Ziggy obtaining 1st place for overall individual speaker. This recognises the outstanding advocacy skills of our students. Thanks to Mr Wilson and Mrs Bellerby for their assistance with the trip.

HUMANITIES | St Augustine's participated in the regional CQUniversity Schools Business Challenge based on business, legal studies, economics and accounting concepts. MISSION | The Saints boys are always keen to lend a hand, with 34 students recently taking part in the annual Salvation Army Doorknock Appeal. They raised close to $2,000.

STUDENT HIGHLIGHT | Congratulations to Samuel, who has been selected in the Queensland 13-15 Years Football Squad following his outstanding performance at the recent State Championships. Well done on a fantastic achievement!

STUDENT HIGHLIGHT | Franky recently represented the U18 Australian Men’s Hockey Team in a 4-match series in India, finishing in a tie. A highlight was scoring an international goal in the final minute of game one! Congratulations, Franky!
