The Term 2 Student Council Project is well underway!
All of the shapes have now been undercoated and painted by our Music, STEM and Language captains. Our Year 5 Student Councillors have had a fantastic time designing the patterns that will be featured on each shape and have almost finished bringing their creative ideas to life.
We are excited to see the finished project and thank our Student Councillors and captains for their enthusiasm, creativity, and hard work. Stay tuned for the final result!

Lost property was completely emptied just 8 days ago... and this is what it looks like this morning!
If your child is missing any clothing, lunch boxes, drink bottles, hats, or other belongings, please encourage them to check the lost property area as soon as possible.
Any unclaimed items will be removed next week and will either be donated to Lifeline or disposed of if they are no longer suitable for use.
Please take a few minutes to remind your child to collect any missing items.
Thank you for your support!

Our Blue Tree Project was in need of a spruce-up! With all the wet weather in Term 1, it provided the perfect conditions for the weeds to flourish.
Over the past week, we have weeded the garden, replanted it with hardy plants, and added a splash of colour to brighten the space. A fresh layer of mulch should also help keep those weeds under control.
A big thank you to Mr Morris and our Year 6 Student Councillors for all their hard work last week. Their efforts have helped transform the area into a welcoming and vibrant space for our school community.

Last week in Science, 5C learned about light refraction and how Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples use their understanding of refraction when spearing fish. We explored how light bends as it moves between water and air, causing fish to appear in a different position from where they actually are. To put our learning into practice, we even had a go at "spearing" our own "fish" and discovered just how important this scientific knowledge is for successful fishing!
