We were delighted to welcome Mel, one of our parents and the owner of Mean Treats and Cake Design, to the centre for a special baking experience with the children. Mel generously gave her time to share her passion and talent for baking, creating a fun and engaging hands-on activity for everyone to enjoy ✨🥰

The children loved participating in the baking experience, mixing ingredients, decorating, and learning simple baking skills alongside Mel. The activity encouraged creativity, confidence, teamwork, and sensory exploration while filling the centre with excitement and delicious smells.🍪

We celebrate Nicole’s 2-year anniversary at Sanctuary and acknowledge the incredible growth she has shown during her journey with us 💐🌟

Nicole leads with confidence, initiative, and genuine care. She consistently puts her hand up to step into leadership opportunities, supports her team, and approaches her role with professionalism and pride. Her calm and capable presence has made a positive impact on both the children and educators around her.

One of the many beautiful contributions Nicole brings to our centre is her passion for inclusion and cultural connection. Through sign language lessons with the children and sharing her culture and language within the learning environment, she creates meaningful opportunities for children to learn, connect, and develop a sense of belonging.
