Last week our little chefs had an exciting culinary adventure as they stepped into the role of sushi makers alongside our Centre Chef! πŸ‘©β€πŸ³πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³

The children explored fresh ingredients, practised their fine motor skills by rolling sushi, and learned about different foods and cultures from around the world. It was wonderful to see their creativity, confidence, and enthusiasm shine as they carefully crafted their own delicious sushi creations🍣

Experiences like these encourage children to try new foods, develop independence, and build important life skills in a fun and engaging way.

What a fantastic way to celebrate World Sushi Day!

A big thank you to Stephanie, one of our wonderful mums, for volunteering her time to join us for a special art experience. The children had so much fun painting bees and caterpillars, exploring their creativity, and sharing smiles throughout the activity. πŸπŸ›πŸŽ¨
We value the important role families play in our centre and love creating opportunities for parents and carers to be involved in our daily program. Experiences like these help strengthen our sense of community and enrich the children’s learning through meaningful connections and shared experiences.
Thank you, Stephanie, for contributing your time and talents to our centre. We look forward to welcoming more families into our learning environment throughout the year! 🎨 🐝

We were excited to welcome Sue Hall, Deputy Principal of Redlynch State School, for a special school readiness visit. 🏫✨

Sue shared a story with the children about getting ready for the transition to school. Together, they explored what they might need to bring, who their teachers may be, and the school uniform they will wear. πŸ“šπŸŽ’

The children were engaged and enthusiastic as they learned more about what school life could look like, helping to build confidence and excitement for this important next step in their learning journey. πŸ’›

A big thank you to Sue for sharing her time and such a lovely story with us! 🌿

🌞The Jellyfish enjoyed a wonderful outdoor exploration, journeying through the studios and yards, discovering new spaces and making new friends across different age groups.

Along the way, they delighted in the dance of the sprinklers, laughing, playing, and embracing the joy of the moment. Through every adventure, they explored with curiosity, lived with wonder, and created beautiful memories together πŸ₯°

A beautiful garden-to-table experience for our Seagulls room 🌿✨ The children harvested spring onions from the garden and added them to their pumpkin soup for lunch. It was wonderful to see our Sustainability Action Plan (SAP) in action, with children actively participating in sustainable practices and experiencing the journey from garden to plate.
