BUSINESS EVENTS || Business event leads from across Australia have been secured for Tropical North Queensland following the annual Business Events Cairns & Great Barrier Reef Showcase. The team was accompanied by 18 local business events suppliers to host lunch in Brisbane, breakfast in Sydney and cocktails in Melbourne meeting with 100 association and corporate buyers, professional conference organisers and destination management companies. They took 45kg of local produce to set up a display in each city showcasing the diversity of Tropical North Queensland food and beverages which can be used as delegate gifts.

REGIONAL SHOWCASE || The Business Events Cairns & Great Barrier Reef team and 18 TTNQ members are meeting with more than 100 event organisers in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne this week for the annual Regional Showcase. The latest products, events spaces and the industry’s sustainability credentials are being discussed at the series of events.

TOURISM WEEK IN CAIRNS || Cairns will be the centre of the state's tourism industry this November as hundreds of tourism and events businesses head north to participate in Queensland's annual Tourism Week. With a focus on the latest trends and developments in Queensland's tourism industry, a range of events will be staged to help businesses plan for growth in the future. As always, the week will end on a high with celebrations of the industry's achievements.
