Year 12 Biology students recently attended UNSW's Museum of Human Disease as part of their coursework! πŸ”¬

"The excursion was an informative experience that allowed us as students to develop and deepen our understanding of infectious diseases. The museum showcased and held specimens that demonstrated the devastating effects of infectious diseases on human anatomy. Overall, the excursion was a valuable learning opportunity for the biology cohort and provided knowledge that will support our assessment task."

Our Year 10 Geography students enjoyed a fantastic day at Windang in the beautiful Illawarra region. Surrounded by tranquil coastal scenery, students explored the stunning beaches and natural landscapes while applying their geographical skills in the field.

Throughout the excursion, students created transects, maps and line sketches, investigated coastal landforms and processes, and examined management strategies designed to protect the environment and local community. They also explored the causes of sand loss along Warilla Beach and considered how coastal areas are managed sustainably.
