We are incredibly proud to celebrate a very special milestone at Kumon Cabramatta.

Our Year 3 student, Cayla, has achieved 1st place in English out of 848 students and has become the first Completer from our centre.

This outstanding result reflects consistent effort, structured learning and strong support from her family. Cayla’s journey is a beautiful reminder that when children believe in themselves and stay committed, incredible things can happen.

As an after-school mathematics and English programme, Kumon is often categorised as tuition. However, Kumon differs from the services provided by your local tutor in some fundamental ways.

Through Kumon, your children develop self-learning skills.

Kumon believes that children who learn concepts on their own can better remember and retain knowledge. When children are encouraged to retrace their steps by correcting mistakes or to evaluate how problems were solved, it is highly likely they will retain the specific steps towards solving a problem. These self-learning skills will benefit your children throughout school and beyond.

Kumon Instructors encourage students to use the self-learning design features and examples in the worksheets to discover how to solve the answer on their own, providing hints and guidance when needed.

This develops in our students a mindset to ‘have a go’. Kumon students carry this mindset as they progress through school and beyond.

Communicate frequently with your Instructor to help make Kumon work for your child. The more communication there is between the Instructor and your family, the more confident your child will feel that we are working as a team.

For your Instructor to easily be able to contact you, please let them know when is most convenient for you to discuss your children's progress, and which mode of communication you prefer.
