Today, our classrooms were filled with stories, smiles and a love of reading today as we welcomed our parents and families to join us for Drop Everything and Read! ❤️📖
A wonderful way to celebrate Book Week and build the excitement for our Book Parade tomorrow! 🎉📚 Who’s ready to see some amazing book characters come to life? 👀✨

🏆 OUTSTANDING 2026 NAPLAN RESULTS! 🏆
We are incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of our Year 3 and Year 5 students in this year’s NAPLAN results! ❤️💙
🌟 Our standout SSSG rankings include:
🥇 1st – Year 5 Numeracy
🥇 1st – Year 5 Writing
🥇 1st – Year 5 Reading
🥈 2nd – Year 5 Grammar & Punctuation
🥈 2nd – Year 5 Spelling
Our students also achieved results above the state mean across every area in both Year 3 and Year 5, with the vast majority achieving Strong or Exceeding proficiency.
These results are a wonderful reflection of the hard work of our students, the dedication of our teachers and the ongoing support of our families. We couldn’t be prouder of our Sacred Heart community! ❤️

WEEK 5 ASSEMBLY ⭐️
Today, we congratulated our K-2 students who received an award for displaying the school learning dispositions!! 🌟🏆
We also acknowledged and congratulated the students who attended the Conference 4 Athletics! 👏⭐️

📚✨ BOOK WEEK 2026 IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER! ✨📚
We have an exciting week planned at Sacred Heart, filled with reading, imagination and plenty of Book Week fun! 📖❤️
From D.E.A.R. reading (drop everything and read), and our Book Fair to parent reading, our Book Week Parade, buddy reading, an author visit and a special K–2 performance, there is lots to look forward to!
🍎 BOOK WEEK CANTEEN MENU
Our school canteen is also joining in the celebrations with a special Book Week Menu, available from Monday 17 August to Friday 21 August 2026.
To help our canteen team prepare and ensure your child doesn’t miss out, please place all pre-orders before Monday 17 August. Please note that our normal daily specials will be replaced by the Book Week Menu for the week.

🦋🐞 Our Kindy explorers went on a creepy-crawly adventure today! 🐛🕷️🪲
Our little learners had a buzzing time at the Mini Beasts incursion, getting up close with some fascinating tiny creatures! They had the opportunity to discover, hold and learn all about these amazing little creatures.
What a fun-filled day of exploring, learning and getting hands-on with nature! 🌿💚
