Today we enjoyed a cosy and fun filled Pyjama Day! Everyone arrived in their favourite pyjamas, ready for a day of comfort, laughter and learning.

🌿🖤💛❤️ Celebrating NAIDOC Week ❤️💛🖤🌿

This week, our children have been proudly celebrating NAIDOC Week, taking part in a range of meaningful experiences that honour the rich histories, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Throughout the week, the children explored creativity through painting with their feet, created colourful boomerangs, decorated handprints inspired by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags, and admired this year’s beautiful NAIDOC artwork. These experiences encouraged conversations about culture, identity, belonging and respect in an age appropriate and engaging way.

This week our Platypus children celebrated Plastic Free July by exploring creative ways to make art using natural resources instead of plastic materials.

The children collected leaves and used them as paintbrushes to create beautiful artwork on recycled cardboard. 🍃🎨 Through this experience they explored different textures, experimented with painting techniques, and discovered how nature can be used in creative and sustainable ways.

🚦 Road Safety Week 🚦

This week the Koala children explored road safety through creative art, colour recognition and imaginative play. We learned about traffic lights and what the colours mean , Stop, Slow and Go.

We also explored road signs & discussed how to stay safe near roads.
