Congratulation to STU in completing his Pilots Certificate, and to young Aarnav who went solo last week. Just another young person who can tick the box for being able to fly and aircraft, but now needs to learn to drive a car.

It's been a busy month at Caboolture Flight School, with some major changes and milestones achieved. The website has been updated with the introduction of the Savannah XL -VG. Both the Sling and the Savannah are very much the same colour, so a new logo was created which brings colour shapes, well you get the picture, so check out the new website. Heidi my photographer suggested an update of the CFI was in order (still not sure what she's getting at !!)
A big congratulations to James on completing his RPC. James is now building his solo hours and plans to sit his passengers endoresment.

Elana stepped through my office door inquiring about learning to fly? That was in mid-2024. The first picture is Elana passing her Raaus flight test.
The second picture is Elana just after passing her CPL (commercial pilots licence)
Well done to both of you, I guess this is why as instructors we do what we do. I get great satisfaction in knowing I have been able to play a part in helping aviators achieve their dreams and goals.

Talk about the blind leading the blind?? Karl the owner of the X-Air Hanuman and he's side kick Bruce of Savannah fame at work putting new skins on the wings. Slowly as it goes with heaps of silicon spray was required. Still not sure about the colour but no reason for us all not see it as we fly.
This aircraft has been around the field for a number of years and not flown that offen, but no doubt thats about to change.

Caboolture Flight School has had a number of people reach some major milestones this month.
Congradulations to both Millie and Matt on going solo. Both are gliding instructors, which has now stirred an interest in me to find out more about this gliding carry on 🤔

Next step looking forward for Sophie is RPL or PPL.

Congratulations to Liam on completion of his Pilot Certificate. Liam is doing an apprenticeship with one of the major airlines out of Brisbane, with work and exam commitments and learning to fly its been a huge effort. So on behalf the Caboolture Flight School group well done.
Liam it might be time to dust off the Savannah that's burried in the back shed at the farm.

Congratulataions to Josh surrounded by Dad the taxi driver and little sister. Josh completed his Pilot Certiftcate in the Sling three weeks ago. Josh's long term plan is to maybe join the airlines but first things first a driving licence. (The taxi driver would then be able to sleep in) and Josh would be able to find his own way to the airfield..

Whats been happening at Caboolture Flight School you might ask? Heaps, a big congratulations to Stu on going solo some weeks ago.
Stu doesn't have to many hours to complete before he is able to sit his Pilot Certificate. His long term plan is to complete his cross country endorsement.
