🌟 Exciting Milestone at Caboolture Central! 🌟

We are incredibly proud to celebrate a wonderful achievement this year – every room across our service is now participating in regular excursions! 🎉

Every fortnight, our children have the opportunity to explore, discover, and connect with their local community through meaningful, hands-on learning experiences.

🌿 Our Nursery children enjoy Bush Kindy adventures at Centenary Lakes.
📚 Our Toddler, Junior Kindy, and Senior Kindy groups visit the local library, fostering early literacy skills and a lifelong love of books.
🏊‍♀️ Our Kindergarten children take their learning even further through a variety of enriching experiences, including Intergenerational Day at Bolton Clarke, Bush Kindy at Centenary Lakes, library visits, and swimming lessons.

These valuable experiences help children build confidence, spark curiosity, develop independence, and strengthen their connection to the world around them.

We are so proud of the opportunities we can provide for our children and look forward to many more adventures ahead! 💚

Our Vegetable of the month is Beetroot!
The Senior Kindy children enjoyed making their own beetroot dip and developing their fine motor skills by safely practising their knife skills to cut slices of beetroot. This hands-on experience encouraged healthy eating habits while building confidence and independence in food preparation.

Can you believe we are halfway through our Veggie Fun Program for 2026? 🙌Our Veggie Fun Program runs for 10 months of the year, giving the QCCS Kindergarten Children real-world experience of our farm to plate approach to food & nutrition. By learning, planting, growing, harvesting and cooking our featured vegetables, children develop an understanding of food systems, as well as confidence in the kitchen.

This month our feature vegetable is beetroot! Loved on burgers in Australia, this nutrient rich vegetable will be whipped up into a creamy beetroot dip by our kindergarten children. Don’t forget to ask about the fun facts they have learned, they will love to share their new knowledge with you.
