🚨 URGENT: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR ABBEY MEDIEVAL FESTIVAL! 🏰🛡️

Want a FREE adult entry pass to the festival? It’s simple: volunteer for just one 4-hour shift, and the rest of the day is yours to explore for free!

Plus, as a massive thank you, every volunteer goes into the draw to win $500 off your St. Michael’s College fees! 💰✨

📅 When: Friday 10th, Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th July (Shifts available from 6am Fri – 5:30pm Sun)
👗 Costume: Provided by us! (Just bring a black shirt & trousers)

We urgently need help with:
🍔 Food & Drink Prep/Serving (P&F Tent)
🥧 Tart Carts & 🎪 Water Peddlers (Joust Arena)
🏃 Runners (Topping up carts)

If you can spare some time to volunteer at the Festival please see the email sent home on 18th June to put your name on the roster.

🌸 Mother’s Day Stall🌸
Our Mother’s Day Stall is coming up next week - here's a sneak peak at what's available.

📅 When: Tuesday May 5th – Thursday May 7th
⏰ Time: 9:00am – 11:00am daily
💰 Prices: $1.00 – $20.00

🙋 How You Can Help:
Let us know if you can lend a hand with a stall! Whether you can stay for 30 minutes or the full morning, we’d love to have you.

Bags: We are short on paper shopping bags (Woolworths/Coles style). If you have spares, please drop them at Admin.

🛍️ Info for Students:
To help things run smoothly on stall days, please ensure your child has:

A named bag to carry their gifts home.

Money in a sealed, named envelope with a note of who they are buying for (e.g., Mum, Nanna, Aunty).

Our Colour Run Fundraiser is live, and we are kicking things off with a class challenge... We want to see which class is leading the way with the most online profiles.

The class that creates the most online profiles during our first week wins an Icy Pole Party!

🏃‍ 2026 COLOUR RUN! 🌈

This term, the P&F is excited to launch our Monty the Monstar Fun Run to raise funds for our College.

This isn't just a fun run - it’s a total blast of colour and community spirit!
On Thursday, 2 April from 1.30pm we’re transforming the oval into a rainbow zone!

How You Can Join the Fun:
👉 Register: Use the link in your email to create a cybersafe online profile for your child.
👉 Share: Once you’re set up, share the link with family and friends to collect online donations.
👉 Volunteer: Parents we need "Colour Blasters" to help spray the students!

This year students can order prizes based on their donations or choose to give back to one of these six amazing causes:
🐢 The Great Barrier Reef Foundation (coral planting or turtle protection)
🌳 Carbon Neutral (tree planting)
🍽 OzHarvest (providing meals to those in need)
🏥 The Starlight Foundation (bring happiness to sick kids)
💙 Dolly’s Dream (end bullying in schools).
