Two weeks to go until our Year 9 Rite Journey Abyss 🌟

The Abyss is a significant milestone in The Rite Journey, providing students with an opportunity to pause, reflect, and take an important step in their journey from childhood towards adulthood. We encourage families to begin discussing and preparing for this meaningful experience together.

It’s been a busy term for St Columban’s Touch Football teams.

A special congratulations to our Year 10 Gold team, who currently sit on top of the TAS ladder.

Students have also been competing in the Sunshine Coast Regional All Schools competition and the new Brisbane Outer Schools League (BOSL), providing valuable preparation for the Queensland All Schools Championships on the Gold Coast in Term 4.

Congratulations to all three StC BOSL teams on reaching next Wednesday’s Grand Finals. A special mention to our Under 15 Boys, who secured their place with an exciting semi-final win in drop-offs.

We are thrilled to announce that our StC team ‘The Puzzled Pages’ competed in the 2026 QLD State Jigsaw Puzzle Competition on Wednesday last week.

They performed admirably for their 1st competition as a team (4). They place 2nd with a time of 54:17 mins for a 500-piece puzzle in the Secondary division.

The buzz was awesome, heaps of fun for all involved and exposed students to different variations of puzzling from ‘speed chess’ to ‘puzzle sprints’.

Thank you to Interschool Puzzle Club for organising and running this amazing event.
