🏆 Congratulations OLIVER TRENFIELD – Victorian Apprentice of the Year! 🥩🔪

What a privilege it was to be in Victoria to celebrate OLIVER TRENFIELD from Meatsmith and his fantastic achievement as Victorian Apprentice of the Year.

We are incredibly proud of what Ollie has achieved and proud to have played a part in his journey as he continues developing into a fantastic butcher in his own right.

Our General Manager, Wesley Herrod, had the privilege of attending the awards ceremony and celebrating Ollie’s achievement. Wesley has also been fortunate enough to assist with some of Oliver’s training and was there on the day of the competition to watch him put his skills, knowledge and hard work to the test.

For us, this is what training is all about — seeing an apprentice grow in confidence, develop their craft and achieve recognition for the hard work they have put into their trade.

A massive congratulations to Ollie, his team at Meatsmith , and everyone who has supported him throughout his apprenticeship.

We’re proud to have been part of your journey, Ollie , and we’re looking forward to watching you continue to grow and make your mark on the butchery industry.

Everyone at FS Alliance is incredibly proud to see you announced as the newest Australian Butchers Guild Ambassador.

We were fortunate to have Suzy as one of our trainers, and it’s been amazing to watch her passion, knowledge and dedication inspire so many apprentices and butchers along the way.

While we’re sad to have seen you leave the team, we’re even more excited that you’ve taken the leap to chase your dream of owning your own business. Gem Butchery is a reflection of the hard work and commitment you’ve always shown, and we couldn’t be happier for you.

What an incredible day at the VIC Apprentice of the Year Competition!

We had the privilege of attending to support a couple of our own apprentices, and we were genuinely impressed by the outstanding skill, professionalism and passion shown by every competitor. The standard on display across the pork and lamb sections was exceptional, and it’s great to see the future of the Australian butchery industry in such capable hands.

A huge congratulations to everyone who competed. You should all be incredibly proud of your efforts, and we wish each of you the very best of luck for the remainder of the competition and the final results!
