A couple of close battles in Week 10 for our Caboolture Rugby League Struddys Cup boys.

The scoreboard didnโ€™t quite fall our way, but there was plenty of effort, grit and pride shown across both games against Burpengary.

Well done to our try scorers, conversions kickers and every player who kept pushing until the final whistle. ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ’š

Our Caboolture High Show Team travelled out to Esk in the Brisbane Valley for the first official cattle show of the season. ๐ŸฎOur cattle brought home several class ribbons, with most of the animals attending their very first show. Our students handled the animals beautifully and represented Caboolture SHS with pride.

The team really shone on Friday night, with an incredible sweep in the Young Judges Prime and Stud Beef competitions. These competitions require students to judge a group of four animals and then speak on the microphone to explain their placings to the judge. For a number of students, this was their first time speaking on a microphone, and we are so proud of the courage they showed in stepping up and doing something challenging, even when it felt a little nerve-wracking.

Two of our First Nations students, Taleisha and Nevaeh, who participate in the Beyond the Broncos program, were given the special opportunity to design and paint playersโ€™ boots for the Round 23 โ€“ Indigenous Round.

Taleisha painted Tamika Uptonโ€™s boots, while Nevaeh painted Corey Paixโ€™s boots for the Broncos v Dolphins game at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday, 8 August.

Both students put so much thought and cultural pride into their artwork and should be incredibly proud of the finished result. What a wonderful opportunity to showcase their talent.

Keep your eyes peeled if you're watching the game ๐Ÿ‘€

A warm Caboolture State High Schoolโ€‹โ€‹ welcome!

It was a pleasure to welcome students and staff from Chiao Tai High School in Taiwan, to Caboolture State High School for our latest international study tour.

Our international guests enjoyed a truly authentic cultural experience, including First Nations cultural lessons where they created their own boomerangs while learning about Kabi Kabi culture. They also strengthened their English skills through specialised English classes, sampled some classic Aussie food, and visited our Ag Farm to experience another unique aspect of Australian life.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this visit such a memorable experience. We loved sharing our school, our culture, and building connections that extend beyond borders. We hope to welcome you back again in the future! ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿค๐ŸŒ
