📚💗 The Runaway Hug 💗📚

To conclude Book week for 2026, Miss Dee shared the beautiful story The Runaway Hug. This is such a wonderful resource for families, particularly when little ones find goodbye time challenging.

As our Kindy children prepare for their big transition to Prep next year, we encourage families to read this story together at home. It can help children understand that even when their grown-up leaves, the love and connection they share stays with them all day. 🥰

For those quick morning drop-offs, having a familiar story to recall and a special goodbye routine can help make the transition a little easier and more positive for everyone. 💕

5 Little Dinosaurs is a much-loved favourite in our Toddler Room! The children enjoy joining in with the repetition, counting along and making the dinosaur sounds. 🦕🦖
