Cabarita Community Incorporated is Landcare registered and is working to be the central information hub and development organisation for our small community. Our focus is to represent local residents, fellow community, sporting groups, and our local school well into the future. Our group is open to all residents and interested people who want to ensure that Lake Hawthorn and the wider Cabarita community is moving forward in a positive way.

Merbein Golf Club is turning 100!
This weekend the club is celebrating a full century with three days of golf, live music, food and plenty of chances to catch up with past and present members.
From its early days near Mildara Winery to the club it is today, there’s a lot of local history wrapped up in this milestone.

It outlines five key themes:

➡️ Driving visitation through sustainable events and activations
➡️ Investment for future tourism growth
➡️ Collaboration and partnerships for a stronger visitor economy
