Stephen & Nikoletta – Cuban Soul Gold Coast

Founders of Cuban Soul, Stephen & Nikoletta are passionate about sharing the authentic spirit of Cuban Salsa & Dominican Bachata. With over 15 years of teaching experience, they have trained extensively in Cuba & the Dominican Republic. They have performed at many dance festivals & competed at both national and international levels, including representing Australia at the Rueda World Championships in Denmark.

Their Gold Coast classes help students discover the joy & connection of Cuban Salsa. We’re thrilled to welcome them back to the Byron Latin Fiesta 2026!

Csaba & Poppy – Byron Salsa

The team behind Byron Salsa, Csaba & Poppy bring their passion for Salsa & Bachata to the Byron Bay community. Originally from Hungary, Csaba began dancing at the age of 10, becoming a national champion before going on to perform professionally, including touring internationally with Burn the Floor & appearing on Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance Australia.

Now based in Byron Bay, Csaba & Poppy share their love of dance through engaging classes, creating a welcoming space where dancers of all levels can learn & connect. Join them at the Byron Latin Fiesta 2026.
