What an incredible two days immersed in education from some of the most inspiring international doctors—sharing their passion, insights, and clinical results with the EXCEED Medical Microneedling device.

It was such a privilege to reconnect with Dr. Matthias Aust for the third time and capture a fan photo together! Back in 2022, I had the honour of lecturing on behalf of Derma Aesthetics at the Non-Surgical Symposium in Queensland, presenting his remarkable paper “Fact or fiction: does microneedling cause dyspigmentation?”

Revisiting his lecture in person reaffirmed such an important message—microneedling itself does not cause pigmentation changes. More often, it’s the incorrect aftercare practices that influence post-treatment responses. In fact, Dr. Aust’s research highlights a downregulation of interleukin-10 and the MC1R receptor, aligning with an inhibition of tyrosinase activity—meaning melanocytes remain stable following treatment.

Feeling grateful to continue learning, revising, and expanding knowledge in such an ever-evolving and fascinating field of skin science. ✨

Created by the visionary co-founders of Derma Aesthetics, Simone Vescio and Reika Roberts, SIMKA embodies their passion for a “Skinimalism” approach, grounded in Corneotherapy principles.

The event was an absolute success—thanks to the seamless collaboration between our Marketing and Education teams, it was nothing short of sensational! A huge thank you to everyone who made this event unforgettable, and to Aesthetica, you’ve been incredible. 🧡✨

Reflecting on our recent successes, the Sydney Beauty Expo was an incredible experience. We had the chance to showcase some of our standout offerings: dermaviduals, EXCEED Medical Microneedling, and SIMKA. 🌟 It was a pleasure to present how these advanced skincare solutions can transform and enhance skin health.

Additionally, being named finalists at the ABIA Awards was a significant honour. It recognises the hard work and innovation behind our products and services, and it motivates us to continue pushing the envelope in skincare.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited us at the Expo and supported our journey. Your enthusiasm and feedback are invaluable as we strive for even greater achievements in the future. Here’s to continuing our commitment to excellence and innovation in skincare!
