Eternal English stands with the Hazaras and other minorities, nationals and internationals within Afghanistan, in calling and praying for peace & freedom.

Paying homage to the beauty of the Afghan landscape. This is a frozen waterfall in the Band-e Amir National Park, captured in the middle of a Bamyan winter. Recent reports from accuse Taliban soldiers of massacring Hazaras in the neighbouring province. My friends have been forced to flee their homeland and are in hiding. People who devoted their lives to working for peace and non-violence are now fearful of being targeted for their views.

She came to me for help with just a week to go before her exam! 🤓 Thankfully, her English was already of a very high standard... However, there was plenty of work to be done: getting familiar with the test format; understanding the 'do-s & don't-s' of the four skill tests; tweaking writing style & content and; of course, knowing what to expect and how to answer questions in the speaking test. 👓
Nothing like a tight timeframe to get both student & teacher focused on what matters!

Lucas came for help to prepare for his General English IELTS exam. He was under a lot of pressure to get his required band score in very little time...

Together, we identified his key areas of need and focused on skills & strategies to improve his language and exam technique in those areas.

I understand that we can't always keep to a commitment. Sickness; change of circumstance; vehicle breakdowns... life happens.
If you suddenly find you can't make a lesson, I'll always do my best to reschedule.
However, wherever possible, please try to give 24hrs notice of a cancellation, so I can try to fill your timeslot with another student or appointment.
