You are invited to the Buxton Primary School Community Wellbeing Event. Challenge yourself on our AFL-inspired inflatable obstacle course, enjoy a free BBQ, and connect with local wellbeing organisations. It’s a great opportunity to have fun, stay active, and strengthen community connections.

📣 Expressions of Interest – Buxton Primary School Community Market Fundraiser

Hello community!

Late last year we put out expressions of interest for a school car boot sale fundraiser. There was lots of interest, but unfortunately the timing didn't align with other events in the area, so we put the idea on hold.

Now we're bringing it back!

As Buxton Primary School will be a polling place for the November State Election, we thought it would be a fantastic opportunity to combine voting day with a community market-style fundraiser.

We're currently exploring the idea of:
• Local business stalls
• Pre-loved and car boot sale stalls
• Food stalls
• Our much-loved cake stand (of course!)

At this stage we're in the very early planning stages and would love to gauge interest from the community.

If you'd be interested in having a stall for your business, or would like to sell some pre-loved treasures, please comment below or text Kerri on 0402 624 430.

We will be back for day 2 of the Murrindindi Beanie and Fibre Festival tomorrow at the Alexandra Shire Hall with delicious hot food, sweet treats and crafts for sale.

See you there from 10am!

THANK YOU to our wonderful community for all chipping in with your time, efforts, donations and baking! It is so greatly appreciated. 💛

Just a reminder to please bring your contributions to the school by Friday at 3:30pm (or to Alexandra Shire Hall at 8:30am Saturday morning).

If anyone still has the capacity to give even an hour or two to help at the cake stall over the weekend, it would be incredibly helpful.

And if you’re unable to fill your volunteer shift, it would be greatly appreciated if you could please make efforts to help find someone to cover your spot so we can keep things running smoothly for everyone.

Calling on our wonderful school community 💛

Firstly - THANK YOU so much to everyone who has already volunteered, donated or offered support for this weekend’s Murrindindi Beanie Festival fundraiser. We truly appreciate it.

We are still desperately needing a few more helping hands and donations to help make the weekend run smoothly - especially so Sarah isn’t left completely run off her feet (like every other year!). As most of you know, she gives so much extra care, energy and time to our kids and school community every single day, and it would be wonderful if we could all rally around and support Sarah and our wonderful school, this weekend.

We are still needing donations of:
Soup
Sausage rolls
Box tea bags
24 cans Coke Zero
24 cans Fanta
Bottle of BBQ sauce
Jar of Dijon mustard

As well as VOLUNTEERS for the cake stand!

We currently only have ONE volunteer for Saturday (me 😆), so we especially need help covering:
• Saturday 11am–2pm
• Saturday 1pm–4pm

And for Sunday we still need help with:
• Sunday 11am–2pm
• Sunday 1pm–4pm

Even if you can’t do a full shift, an hour of your time would make SUCH a difference and help share the load.
