Exciting news! Project Outbound Holiday Programs have merged and joined forces with Mad About Science, one of Melbourne largest school incursion organisations.

We are launching our new brand Outbound Discovery at our new headquarters, 1/82 Lewis Road, Wantirna South.

Focusing on school incursion and school holiday programs, Outbound Discovery brings our outdoor training programs into primary and secondary schools. This includes our popular school holiday program - Basecamp.

Project Outbound will still focus on our family experiences, adventure therapy and expeditions.

Great start for Level 1 Basecamp! The new Junior Outbounders were a joy to have and was really engaged. We had a lot of fun with knots, navigation, setting and packing down tents and the highlight of level 1, the fire session and finishing with campfire and s'mores!

One of the many questions that I have received from parents dropping off their kids on our Basecamp Holiday Programme is "When are we going to start running Basecamp for Adults? our kids have so much fun and learnt so much. We feel that we have missed out and we all need those skills too to guide them moving forward!".

That is our end goal at Project Outbound, not just to in-still a lifelong passion for the outdoors to kids but the whole family.

So with that I mind, I have been working on doing a 1 day intensive Basecamp program for adults who are keen to either start their journey in the outdoors or sharpen their skills in the areas of outdoor exploration, whether it is just how to pack, what gear do I need to start, all the way to bushcraft, compass navigation, knots and survival.

The cost for the individual unit is at $150 for the full day. Run either on weekends or school holidays.
