Butler College Perth Western Australia Butler College is an inclusive public secondary school in WA catering for students in Years 7 to 12.

Since our establishment in 2013, we continue to build on a strong foundation of community, which is at the very heart of our ethos 'A College that cares'. We share the same aspirations as families; for our students to graduate as confident, happy and capable young adults, ready to make a positive contribution to a modern society. We are an inclusive campus with approximately 1600 students in Years

7-12, which includes almost 100 students with disabilities, ranging from mild or moderate to high needs. Situated near the coast in Perth's northern suburbs, our campus is a spacious site of 10 hectares. The grounds are innovative in design, with purpose-built, specialised facilities including a hydrotherapy pool for students with disabilties. 📖✏️This week Year 7-10 students rose to the challenge in the annual Write a Book in a Day national competition. Students worked in teams, collaborating to create, illustrate and submit a complete book of 3,500-5,000 words in just 12 hours! ⏳

From brainstorming and writing, illustrating to editing, and then finalising their books, students demonstrated outstanding creativity and commitment. The classroom was buzzing from start to finish - an incredible day. Well done everyone! 👏🙂

Year 9 students stepped into the culinary world through a 'Taste of Thai' experience at North Metropolitan TAFE Joondalup.
As part of the Career Taster Program, students discovered the art of authentic Thai cooking and prepared a delicious meal in a professional kitchen environment. What a wonderful opportunity to develop practical skills and explore careers in hospitality! 🍜🥢👨‍🍳

Last Thursday's Parent Teacher Interview Day smelled AMAZING! 🔥🥩🍖🍗
A huge shout out to Agnes and Juliano from Alecrim Kitchen (our school cafeteria providers) for their authentic Brazilian BBQ lunch for staff. The perfectly cooked beef, chicken and chorizo, grilled over hot coals, had the whole school buzzing and the delicious aroma drifting across campus all day.😋
🫶Thank you for your hard work in preparing and serving fantastic food to our staff. We loved every bite! 💚💛💙

We are incredibly proud to share that Butler College has been named a finalist in the 2026 WA Education Awards for Excellence in Disability and Inclusion! 🎉

This is an exciting recognition of the great work that everyone at Butler College is involved in. It highlights the lengths we go to in support of our school community, from our outstanding Education Support and Learning Support teams to Student Wellbeing, across the entire school, and importantly, in every classroom every day.
