Our Educator team are passionate about providing the ultimate start for every child. Our centre provides long day care.

We offer high quality care - our child care educators and EC teachers receive specialised and ongoing training. Quality childcare promotes trust, autonomy and a true sense of happiness and well being in children. Our team of Educators are attentive to and respectful of children’s individual needs. We offer a holistic approach to childcare with sustainability embedded throughout our daily practices, enriching future generation’s knowledge and understanding of our environment. Children need to engage with their environment and explore and experiment through play. Small Friends provides these opportunities, and are an Accredited Sun-Smart Centre. With our small diverse team, each bringing their own unique qualities to share and educate, working toward our common goal. Our team are open and adaptive to change, and view positive relationships between our staff and parents as essential to providing quality care. Last Thursday, we celebrated R U OK? Day by encouraging children and educators to wear something yellow and come together to promote kindness, connection and checking in with one another. Our lovely Director - Chloe also provided some lovely treats for educators to enjoy throughout the day. To extend the message to families, we also placed a basket of emotional support resources at the front desk for families to access as needed from Educator Bree. It was a lovely opportunity to remind our community that a single "Are you okay?" can make a big difference 💛💛
