Welcome to official DEVISE- Deakin Vietnamese International Students and Extension page. DeVISE was established in 2008 by a group of Vietnamese students studied at Deakin University. We are aiming to help Vietnamese students who pre-arrival, currently studying and Graduated at Deakin University with Housing, Career, Academic. Our aims are simple: create events, activities which combine between Vi

etnamese culture and Australian's lifestyle. And also we're connecting Vietnamese students together. We had many events which were successful in the past (Melodies of Time 2011, Saturday of Rave 2016 and, DEVISE soccer cup annually). DeVISE Open Mic Night 2026 – Thời Ức sẽ đưa bạn bước qua những cung bậc cảm xúc của một câu chuyện được kể bằng âm nhạc: từ tan vỡ, dâng trào, đến những khoảnh khắc gặp lại chưa kịp gọi tên.

Open Mic Night năm nay trở lại với nhiều cảm xúc và sự mới mẻ. Tại OMN bạn sẽ được trải qua 3 giai đoạn của một cặp đôi thông qua những bài hát được biểu diễn 🎙️✨

TAN — Khoảnh khắc cuộn băng bắt đầu quay, đưa ta trở về những ký ức cũ. Đó có thể là những tiếc nuối hay hối hận, những lần chia xa hay buông tay. Hai người từng thuộc về nhau, giờ bước về hai phía.

DÂNG — Sau chia xa, mỗi người có một khoảng trời riêng. Một cuộc sống riêng để khám phá, trải nghiệm, tìm tòi và trưởng thành. Đôi khi, rời xa một người cũng là lúc ta đến gần hơn với chính mình.

HỢP — Sau tất cả, ta học cách bước tiếp. Khi cả hai đã đủ trưởng thành, họ tìm lại nhau. Không còn là những người của ngày hôm qua, mà là hai phiên bản mới, liệu họ có lựa chọn cho nhau một cơ hội…

Ba giai đoạn. Một câu chuyện.

Tan để lớn, Dâng để tìm mình, và Hợp để tìm lại nhau.

This year, Open Mic Night officially returns with fresh energy and plenty of emotions. At OMN, you will experience the three stages of a couple’s journey, told through the songs performed on stage 🎙️✨

TAN — The moment the cassette starts playing, it takes us back to old memories—regrets, goodbyes, and times when we had to let go. Two people who once belonged together now walk in different directions.

DÂNG — After the breakup, they each have their own life to explore, experience, and grow. Sometimes, leaving someone behind also helps us become closer to ourselves.

HỢP — After everything, they learn to move forward. When they have both grown and changed, they find each other again. They are no longer the people they used to be, but two new versions of themselves. Will they choose to give each other another chance?

Three stages. One story.

Parting to grow, growing to discover, and finding our way back to each other.

This Open Mic Night is more than just a stage. It is a story told through music, emotions, and voices—and we can't wait to share it with you. 🎶

Tụi mình rất vui vì đã được đồng hành cùng các bạn trong một buổi học tập thật năng suất, yên tĩnh và đầy năng lượng tích cực. Từ những chiếc laptop, assignment, deadline cho đến snacks, đồ uống và những món bánh ngon từ Bé Ơi, hy vọng mọi người đã có một khoảng thời gian vừa tập trung, vừa thoải mái cùng DeVISE.

Deadline season đang tới gần rồi… mọi người đã sẵn sàng “study mode” cùng DeVISE chưa?
