On Tuesday 1 September, our school community came together for a beautiful Father’s Day liturgy and breakfast, giving thanks for the dads and father figures who guide, protect and nurture. It was a beautiful morning of prayer, community and gratitude.

As we celebrate Father’s Day today, we honour all the fathers, grandfathers, uncles and mentors in our community, those with us, those we hold in memory, and those for whom today is a tender or difficult one.

Wishing all dads and father figures a blessed and happy Father’s Day. May St Joseph continue to watch over you and your families with strength, gentleness and grace.

A huge congratulations and thank you to all of the students and staff who participated in the WorldSkills competitions at St Joseph Trade Skills Centre, Hinchinbrook.
We are especially proud to celebrate some outstanding results:
🏆 Zachary for achieving 3rd Place in Automotive
🏆 Adriana for achieving 2nd Place in Hairdressing
🏆 Ilaria for achieving 3rd Place in Hairdressing

Every student who took part demonstrated courage, commitment and a willingness to challenge themselves. Representing your skills, your trade area and your school is an achievement in itself, and we are incredibly proud of all competitors.

We are still awaiting some competition results, along with photos and outcomes from the event at St Yon's, so stay tuned for more updates and celebrations.
