A little splash of yellow, a lot of learning, and endless curiosity! 💛🌼

Our children became little nature explorers as they observed pictures of bugs and insects before using clay to create their own amazing models. From ladybugs and ants to flies and butterflies, the children carefully shaped, rolled, pinched, and moulded the clay to represent the features they noticed.
This hands-on experience encouraged children to learn about the insects that share our environment, fostering curiosity, observation skills, creativity, and an appreciation for nature. It was wonderful to see their imaginations come to life as they explored the fascinating world of bugs through art and play! 🌿🐞✨

As part of our NAIDOC Week celebrations, the children explored the traditional art of weaving. Using yarn, natural materials, and their creativity, they carefully threaded and wove materials through frames, developing fine motor skills, concentration, and hand-eye coordination.
This meaningful experience provided an opportunity to learn about and appreciate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures while fostering a sense of connection, creativity, and respect for First Nations traditions.
