Dear Families,

We are excited to let you know that we will be holding a special End of Term 2 Pizza & Red Food Day on Tuesday, 30th June.

* 1 x Pizza
* 1 x 300ml soft drink, 600ml water or fruit box
* 1 x pack of assorted cookies or mini muffin�
Chocolates and lollies will also be available for purchase during break times on the day.
The last day to order is Friday, 26th June and will be delivered on 30th June.

Please note:�The normal canteen menu will still be available and offered on this day.

To celebrate Reconciliation Week, David Booth visited our school and shared his knowledge, expertise, and stories about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. Through hands-on experiences with artefacts, storytelling, dancing, and traditional games, we gained a deeper understanding of these cultures and traditions.

We learnt new words and language, discovered how certain tools were made and used, and heard about David’s experiences growing up as a child. His visit provided an engaging and meaningful opportunity to learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, and perspectives, helping us develop a greater appreciation and respect for their rich cultural heritage.

Thank you David for helping Burton gain a fun experience while learning important cultural knowledge.
