❄️🎨 Have you heard about our new group for teens? ❄️🎨

HeART Warmers Club is a cosy winter art club and hang out space running out of the Burra Library. Local artist Meg Mader is facilitating the art side of the program. What might you make with Meg? Well, it could look like a lot of things! Everyone gets their an art journal to make their own.

🖌️You might want to try mono printing
🌿 Or water colour illustrations of things you see around the school
📒 Or maybe you want to create a scrap collage of moments in your week
✨ Or draw some funky little ink dudes out of random shapes and scribbles
💬 Or maybe you don’t want to make any art at all, and you just want to chat with your friends or look at memes.

Whatever it is, if you need a bit of warmth, creativity and a place to just be yourself, we’ve got you.

HeART Warmers starts this Friday and it is all free!

✨ Country Arts SA invites artists from all disciplines at any stage of their career to apply for a three-week residency at Grindell’s Hut. ✨

Located in the heart of the Vulkathunha – Gammon Ranges National Park, South Australia, the residency program will run from 8 – 28 October 2026, with the artist receiving an artist fee of $3,000 + GST (or $4,000 for collaborative teams by negotiation), covered travel costs, a living allowance, and a workshop materials fee.

This residency offers artists an opportunity to undertake deep creative research and/or create new work responding to and inspired by the Northern Flinders and surrounding communities.

There are no expectations for the artist to produce finished artworks and no set creative outcomes.

Applications close 30 June 2026, 5pm.

The Intersection Regional Tour, presented by Guildhouse and Country Arts SA, is visiting the Flinders Ranges from 22–27 September and we invite you to get involved and share your practice with us.

Studio Visits are designed as a collaborative exchange to share creative practices, insights, processes and approaches with the Guildhouse and Country Arts SA teams.

For us, wherever people are is the studio visit, it does not need to be a traditional studio space. It can be a walk and talk through town, visiting a home-based creative working space or meeting up at a cafe to share what creativity and arts practice are to you and how we can support you. 💝

Dear Artists,
We would like your help to create a unique three-day art event in the Clare Town Hall During the 2026 Gourmet Festival. May 15th 16th and 17th.
This will be a hands-on, artist led, Art Fair. It will be managed by the Arts Collective Clare Valley. There will be no prizes and no opening night. Just lots of art and fun.
Artists will be able to book a 3-meter-wide panel (or equivalent space for sculpture) at a low cost of $60 for three days. They will deliver and hang their own work, with the help of volunteers. ACCV will manage sales. No commission charged.
There will be a studio space in the supper rooms and interested artists are encouraged to be in residence. This will be a great opportunity for artists to spend time together as well as interact with visitors.
Youth and Junior entries will be accepted free of charge, up to three per entry. A Youth Art Prize will follow at the Clare Art House from May 27th.
Organisers of the Clare Rotary Art Show have generously allowed us to use the infrastructure of the exhibition, and our aim is to keep the doors open this year and hold the space for this esteemed Art Show to return in 2027.
Booking forms for artists will be available from Clare Art House, 8 Mill Street.

As part of the tour, we are facilitating artist studio visits – a chance to connect with Guildhouse and Country Arts SA staff and share your practice, wherever you create.

Regional Arts Australia is looking for Expressions of Interest from Regional Artists and Arts Workers!

The National Regional Arts Fellowship Program is a strategic project supported by the Regional Arts Fund and delivered by Regional Arts Australia. Fellowships provide guaranteed income for regional artists and arts workers to develop work, skills, networks, or research. In 2024, we are seeking Fellowship proposals with a focus on economic, cultural and/or environmental sustainability.
