What a wonderful week celebrating NAIDOC Week! 🖤💛❤️

The children embraced NAIDOC Week through a range of meaningful experiences across all of our rooms.

From art and storytelling to music and yarning, they explored and celebrated the rich cultures, histories, and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. ✨

🦷✨ Fresh smiles all around! ✨🦷

Today we welcomed Delivering Dental to Happy Hearts, where the children had the opportunity to have their teeth examined and cleaned in a fun, gentle, and supportive environment.

Visits like these help build positive experiences around dental care while encouraging healthy habits that can last a lifetime. To finish off their visit, each child took home a special goodie bag to continue caring for their beautiful smiles at home. 🪥😁

Our Pre Kindy and Kindy children are loving getting active and putting their sporting skills to the test! 🏃⚽️

Each week, our incredible team from Inspire visits to guide the children through a fun mix of games and skill building activities. Along the way, they’re developing resilience, patience, teamwork, and confidence all while having an amazing time!

It’s wonderful to see their enthusiasm, determination, and smiles as they learn through movement and play. 🌟

Today we kicked off something very special… our Children’s Council is officially up and running! 🌟

Our first meeting focused on explaining what was involved in our Children’s Council and beginning a meaningful discussion around the question:

“What does Happy Hearts mean to you?” ❤️

The children shared some truly beautiful and thoughtful responses, and their ideas have inspired an exciting new topic that we’ll continue exploring at our next meeting.

We can’t wait to see where this journey takes us as we continue empowering our children to have a voice, share their ideas, and help shape our Happy Hearts community. 💛
