For more than 20 years, this family has been deeply connected to Buronga Primary School and the wider Buronga community. Their journey began in 2002 when they purchased the Buronga Mini‑Mart (now Buronga Bakery) and enrolled their children in local schools.

They quickly became active community members — serving in the Buronga Fire Brigade for over a decade and the Buronga/Gol Gol Lions Club for five years. The International Food Festival became a cherished family tradition, from bringing the fire truck for kids to explore to running the Greek souvlaki stall, which became one of the festival’s busiest attractions.

After moving on from the Mini‑Mart, they built Snap‑on Tools Mildura and later relocated to Red Cliffs, where the business continued to grow. Despite moving away, Buronga remained a special place filled with lifelong friendships and meaningful memories.

Their support for Buronga Primary School today is grounded in gratitude for a community that shaped their family’s life, values and connections.

1976 was the year it all began — the very first International Food Festival at Buronga Public School. A simple idea built on community, culture, and connection… and look at us now. Fifty years later, this festival has grown into a yearly event, loved by generations and still serving up the same heart, flavour, and joy it started with.

We couldn’t be prouder of how far we’ve come, and we can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with you.

A huge milestone for our P&C Committee today! 🎉

We’ve officially taken delivery of our new container, which will become the future home of our P&C HQ. This is an exciting step forward and will form part of the new shed area, helping set things up for future committees to build on.
