✨ The wait is over… ✨

Burnie Ballet Academy is thrilled to announce that our 2026 End of Year Production will be… 🧚 Peter Pan!

Every one of our students will take to the stage as we bring this timeless story to life through the magic of ballet. From our tiniest dancers to our senior performers, we can’t wait to share this unforgettable adventure with our community.

Over the coming months we’ll be revealing more about the production, so be sure to keep an eye on our page!

🎟️ Tickets go on sale in October. If you’ve been to one of our productions before, you’ll know they always sell out beforehand so you’ll want to be quick!

🩰💙 As we wrap up another wonderful Burnie Eisteddfod, with the Winners’ Concert now over, we’d like to say a huge thank you. 💙🩰

Behind every performance is a team of people working tirelessly to make sure our dancers are ready to step onto the stage with confidence.

A heartfelt thank you to Izzy, Romilly and Sara for everything you did behind the scenes throughout the week. From fixing buns to calming nerves and making sure every dancer was stage-ready, working with props and music, couldn’t have done it without you.

We are incredibly proud of every Burnie Ballet Academy student. Not only did you perform beautifully, but you represented our school with kindness, respect and encouragement.

That is what Burnie Ballet Academy is all about. 💙

Thank you to our teachers, volunteers, backstage helpers and families for making another unforgettable Eisteddfod possible. We can’t wait to do it all again next year! 🩰✨

🩰✨ What a wonderful way to finish the Burnie Eisteddfod! ✨🩰

Our final group to take the stage was our Open Character/Demi Character Group (Ghetto to Liberation) who delivered an emotionally moving performance, earning 1st Place and will perform this also at the Prize Winners Concert on Friday. What a wonderful achievement!

This performance was especially special, with dancers ranging in age from just 7 years old through to 19 years old. We love seeing our older students mentoring and dancing alongside our younger dancers, and in turn, giving those younger students the opportunity to share the stage with the dancers they admire and aspire to. It truly reflects the supportive and encouraging environment we strive to create at Burnie Ballet Academy.

A huge thank you to Miss Mandy for choreographing and bringing this beautiful piece to life. It was the perfect performance to finish off an incredible Eisteddfod.

As we reflect on the week, we couldn't be prouder of everything Burnie Ballet Academy has achieved. None of it would be possible without the dedication of our wonderful teachers, the commitment and hard work of our amazing students, and the incredible support of our ballet families. Thank you to all of the parents who got their children to extra rehearsals, helped backstage, and cheered from the audience. Your support is invaluable, and we are so grateful for everything you do.

Congratulations to everyone involved on a fantastic Burnie Eisteddfod. We can't wait to see our dancers take to the stage once again at the Prize Winners Concert on Friday! 💙🩰

🩰✨ Another wonderful result for Burnie Ballet Academy at the Burnie Eisteddfod! ✨🩰

Our 14 & Under National Character Group (Swedish Milkmaids) performed beautifully today, earning 1st Place and will perform again at the Prize Winners’ Concert on Friday. What a fantastic achievement, with the adjudicator stating ‘it was absolutely delightful’ and loved the ‘naughty goat’!

A huge thank you to Miss Mandy, with support of Miss Izzy and Miss Romilly, for all the time, creativity and dedication that went into bringing this piece to life.

We are so proud of every dancer (and goat) who took to the stage today. 💙

🩰🏆 What an incredible morning at the Burnie Eisteddfod!🏆🩰

✨ Our 10 & Under Classical Group danced beautifully, taking home 1st Place. A huge congratulations to all of our dancers, and a heartfelt thank you to Miss Mandy and Miss Izzy with the support of Miss Romilly who brought this beautiful piece together.

✨ Congratulations also to our beautiful duo, Maggie and Mabel, who performed their 12 & Under Classical Duo with grace and confidence, also earning 1st Place. A special thank you to Miss Mandy for creating this stunning performance.

We are so excited both will perform again at the Prize Winners Concert on Friday—a fantastic achievement and a wonderful recognition of the dancers’ hard work and dedication.

Today marked the first performance for Burnie Ballet Academy at this year’s Burnie Eisteddfod, with Issy taking to the stage in the 10 & Under Restricted Classical Solo section. 💙

We couldn’t be prouder of how beautifully she performed, and we are thrilled that she received the Margie Love Encouragement Award. 🌸🏆

A big thank you to Miss Izzy, who worked with Issy on this beautiful piece and helped prepare her for the stage.
