Revolution Dance Twirl

Revolution Dance Twirl RDT offers Dance & Baton Twirling classes on the North West Coast of Tas for members 3 years & over. It is perfect for all ages, abilities and fitness levels.

Baton Twirling is a dynamic, high-energy sport that is both fun to perform and entertaining to watch. It is a unique fun sport, that combines Baton Twirling tricks consisting of Aerials, Contact material & Rolls, with Dance and Gymnastics. It’s great for reflexes, hand eye coordination and ambidexterity. It teaches patience, perseverance, and determination, and offers a great deal of intrinsic rew

ard, while building confidence and self-esteem. Revolution Dance Twirl are proudly Tasmania’s only Baton Twirlers and have been running since 2016, reintroducing Baton Twirling in Burnie after approximately 25 years. RDT is run by Shannon James. Shannon Twirled and Danced in Burnie for many years, and competed at both State, and National Championships, and is a Level 2 Coach with Twirling Australia. RDT also offers separate Dance classes consisting of Lyrical, Jazz, Jazz Funk, Contemporary & Hip Hop. We are currently taking enrolments for 2025 for both Dance and Baton Twirling, and welcome members from 3 years of age and over. Contact us today to become one of RDT's newest members.
