First Rose I have planted when I started a new garden, David Austin 'Poet's Wife', leaning on top of a potted Lomandra longifolia. Not my favourite colour but just a reminder of something when I was little. The other one is the same, DA 'Poet's Wife' that I have planted on the other side of the footpath towards the Almond tree. It was a gift from a beautiful friend...that's why I decided to plant them together in one area of the garden, beautiful contrast against the blue Delphiniums.

Waited for 5 years to see the flowers of TBI 'Sea For Miles', because it has been moved 3-4 times...it's been very loyal. I gave a lot when something turned pear shaped from 2018-2019. I only retained one rhizome from a few varieties, especially those colours that I truly liked. Some of my Irises were sourced from the Hybridisers.
