APC Trainer and Assessor (Victoria), Registered Paramedic, and someone who knows what emergency healthcare looks like beyond the classroom.

With eight years of ambulance experience across emergency and non-emergency care, Frank brings plenty of real-world experience into the classroom.

At just 21, Tom is already building the kind of career he once imagined. 🚑

He started with APC’s HLT51020 Diploma of Emergency Health Care.

Today, he’s working as an Emergency Response Technician in Cairns, building hands-on experience in emergency response and rescue while studying a Bachelor of Paramedicine.

And to top it off, Tom also used his uni break to come back to APC and complete our Pathology Collection certification, adding another qualification and even more practical skills to his toolkit. 👏🏽

And he’s only getting started.

Tom’s story is a pretty good reminder that you don’t need to have your entire career mapped out. You just need somewhere to start.
