Our A Head Start community is grieving the heartbreaking loss of one of our beautiful children, Chloe.

Chloe attended our Currumbin centre from just a few months old, and it was a privilege for our educators to watch her grow. She was a truly special little girl — empathetic, caring and full of life. She brought so much joy to our days and will always hold a special place in our hearts.

This devastating loss has deeply affected our team and many families within our community. During this incredibly difficult time, we would like to come together to support Chloe’s family.

🌿🐾 Exploring Nature with David Attenborough! 🐾🌿

Today, our preschoolers dived into the amazing world of wildlife inspired by the incredible Sir David Attenborough. We chose a page from one of his books and discovered fascinating animals from around the globe.

Each child then used their imagination and creativity to bring their favourite animal to life through art and play. From colourful birds to curious mammals, their creations were as unique as the creatures themselves!

It was wonderful to see their excitement as they learned about nature and expressed their love for animals through drawing, painting, and crafting.

Learning about our planet’s incredible creatures through David Attenborough’s stories sparked curiosity and respect for the natural world in our little explorers. 🌍💚

A huge thank you to the incredible team from The Traveling Tooth Fairy for visiting our centre today! The children had a wonderful experience getting their teeth checked and cleaned in such a fun and friendly way. It was a fantastic opportunity to promote healthy habits and help the children feel confident and comfortable about dental care. We’re so grateful for your gentle approach and the smiles you brought to everyone’s faces!
