Pimpama State School had their “Dress as your favourite team day” yesterday in honour of the Origin Series.

To my delight, three of my students, walked in proudly wearing their ADT shirts as their favourite team.

The following children’s classes will be closed for the June/July School Holidays - if your regular Dojang is NOT listed below it will be running as usual.

Monday:
St Vincent’s Children’s Class

Tuesday:
Loganholme Children’s Class
Caningeraba Children’s Class

Wednesday:
St Joseph’s Children’s Class
Pimpama Children’s Class

Thursday:
Chatswood Hills Children’s Class
Marymount Children’s Class

Friday:
Carbrook Children’s Class

All classes will resume first week back of Term 3, 2026 as we prepare for our August grading.

These holidays are a great time to check your child’s uniform size so new ones can be ordered - they can take a couple of weeks to arrive, so please keep that in mind. Pants need to be ankle length and jackets need to be wrist length with the base of the jacket below their hips/bottom.

If you are going away for the Winter break, have a wonderful time, be safe - remember your situational awareness- we can’t wait to hear about your adventures upon your return.

Carbrook Dojang graded!

Congratulations to these awesome kids that worked their butts off this term and successfully achieved their next rank.

We had a big white belt contingency come through and they are all proud owners of their very first coloured belt. They have absolutely hit the ground running.

I am so proud of you all my warriors, I’m very excited to watch you grow over the next term.

You are all my favorite way to spend a Friday afternoon - even if some of you think my age begins with a 7 😳

Congratulations to these outstanding group of kids and adults that graded last weekend. You have all worked so hard this term and it showed on Sunday - we’ve had it all - white belts grading for the first time, juniors moving up to seniors, new Prep belts and new Black belts - I’m so proud of you all.

Friday nights in the Ormeau Dojang is the perfect way to finish the week.

Huge congratulations to all my CH Kids on their outstanding effort at grading last weekend. From our tiny white belts through to our senior colour belts, you showed us how determined and brave you are.

Special congratulations to Ayda on her successful completion of the transition program - I’ve loved watching you blossom these last 12 months Ayda. Your confidence has grown so much - I love how you break things down and try out everything. You always come in to class with a big beautiful smile and are a great role model for the younger ones. Well done Ayda!
