So wonderful to be able to support some of our amazing schools at the Australia 🇦🇺 Fair in Tokyo yesterday! The buzz was electric and the appetite to come and study in Australia palpable! Well done to Austrade and Study Australia was so good to see so much excitement and to see so many people coming to investigate studying in Australia! Was cool having my own high school and one I worked at side by side! Well this is a full circle moment, I loved taking my colleagues from a school I worked at previously (no a client school) to meet the Japanese students and teachers they welcomed and took such great care of last year. So wonderful to visit our partner school that came to us on the Gold Coast last year! It was really heartwarming to be so incredibly welcome by the senior administration but also to surprise the students who came last year and for them to be so excited to see me! Always great to catch up with our colleagues at the 在日オーストラリア大使館 Australian Embassy in Japan in Tokyo. We are co sponsors of the Australia Prize with Qantas for the Prince Takamado English speech contest that is open to all junior high school students in Japan. Last year’s winner will be heading to the Gold Coast in August this year for two weeks at one of our amazing partner schools. This is so important especially this year with the 50th anniversary of the friendship agreement between Australia and Japan.
