Well we nearly had a white unicorn!!
Poppy is an absolute darling and she gives the best smiles and kisses however unfortunately she just didn’t past all the criteria on the Pony Party suitability checklist 😥 However as much as I have enjoyed her time with us on trial I think her perfect home has been found just nearby with her new buddy Niah.

Niah lost his beautiful long time paddock buddy who also happened to be a grey mare. I had the ponies next door to Niahs place and Poppy would often be found talking to him over the fence. Niah was quite upset with the loss of his dear friend and he took to Poppy and Poppy to him so maybe this was meant to be ❤️

Big weekend for the Pegasus team!! Saturday Mikayla, Digger, Athena and I attended a lovely farm party for Stassia where we were all very well catered for 🙏 whilst Sydney attended my neighbours party for Willows birthday with Tiffany and Bella.

Then followed up next day by a fabulous very busy day at the Ballarat Steiner school Autumn fair!
So grateful to my beautiful ponies Digger,Athena, Tiffany and Bella and my trusty helpers, Mikayla, Sydney, Charlotte and Sienna 🙏

Happy 21st Birthday "Digger" born Anzac day 2002!!
Time to share some funny moments on Digger because he is old enough to handle it now!

1) I once caught him in the dam totally submerged apart from his ears, eyes and nostrils hence why he got the nick name Hippo!
2) I once busted him in the restricted access feed room, it looked like a hurricane had gone through!
3) He drove my big horse Biggles into a dam one day, Biggles thought he was safe but little Hippo boy went in after him! I had to intervene🥴
4) He escaped through an electric fence more than once because the grass is always greener!
5) A child put her fingers in his mouth and he obliging and innocently opened his mouth and held them trying to decide if they were actually food, he wasn’t letting go though, I had to quickly intervene, girl was crying but still had all fingers in tact! I have never been so relieved! but not surprised as he has never bitten anyone!

But overall Digger is just the best little dude, he has been my main pony party man given thousands of pony rides without a glitch since about 2013!

I absolutely love him to bits and he never fails to melt my heart.

Today Digger is actually working on his birthday and shares his birthday with Stassia, but he will get bombarded with love and carrots as usual from all the children!
Send him a birthday wish and I will pass it on!

And spare a thought for all the equine Diggers that were sent to war, Lest we forget.

I am cooking some cinnamon apple buns ( first time) and pizzas, sometimes I play mum 😉 and spend time with my human family, lots of apple scraps and carrots for the ponies though!
