Congratulations to Patrick Carr (2023) who has been selected by Richmond FC as a Category B Rookie. Patrick has recently returned to Melbourne after playing basketball for the University of Texas at Tyler. Patrick will become the tallest player in the AFL, standing at 217cm!

🏉What an enjoyable afternoon in the Ambrose Treacy Pavilion at Parade College, with guests gathering ahead of the traditional Bedford-Madden Shield match. Many from our Parade community, including veterans and the 1996 Herald Sun Shield winning team, were treated to a buffet lunch and entertainment from AFL Legends, Peter Bedford and Simon Madden. Many thanks are extended to St Bernard's and Parade College for their support of this anticipated event.

🌷Our May monthly luncheon was an afternoon full of encouragement, pride and the celebration of new traditions. With Parade College recently becoming co-ed, it was fantastic to hear from three of our Year 12 female students who were candid in sharing their experiences so far.

The women of Parade were the main focus of the day, making it a significant one on the monthly luncheon calendar, one that already upholds 90 years of tradition.

It was great to catch up with the class of 2006 for their 20-year reunion last Friday. Thank you to the 2006 captain, Paul Hume, for speaking to the group about reaching out and showing your support for former classmates.
