For the rest of Term 3, all money raised through our Icy Cup sales will go directly towards helping our families with the costs of travel and accommodation. 💚

A reminder that all students need to wear their BESS school hat when playing outside during break times.

If your child has lost their hat, replacement school hats are available from the school office for $13 each.

Have funds remaining from your child’s 2026 Back to School Boost? These can be used to purchase a replacement school hat with parent approval. Alternatively, cash payment is available.

📌 Unexplained Absence Reminder

Unexplained Absence Letters have been sent home with students who currently have unexplained absences recorded on their attendance record.

We kindly ask parents/carers to provide an explanation beside each unexplained absence and return the letter to the school office as soon as possible so our records can be updated. Alternatively, you may update these absences via QParents.

Providing explanations ensures your child does not have an unexplained absence recorded on their report card.

To avoid receiving Unexplained Absence Letters in the future, please:
📱 Report the absence via QParents by 9:30am
📞 Phone the Student Absence Line on 4132 6166 by 9:30am
💬 Respond to the SMS sent by the school each day your child is absent

📚 Premier’s Reading Challenge – 1 Week to Go! 📚

Just a friendly reminder that the reading part of the Premier’s Reading Challenge closes Friday, 28th August 2026!

Have you finished logging your books?

Reading requirements:
• Prep – Year 2: At least 20 books (read or experienced)
• Years 3 – 4: At least 20 books
• Years 5 – 6: At least 15 books

Please make sure your child’s completed reader record form is returned to the school office by Thursday, 3rd September 2026.

Every student who completes the challenge will be invited to a special celebration — plus, one lucky participant from each year level will win a prize!
