What a fantastic morning at Women of Bundy! 💙🥊

Local women came together at the Bundaberg Aquatic Centre for a morning of fitness, fun, laughter and meaningful conversations.

A big thank you to Kelly Lumby for leading a fantastic fitness session, Kaylene Bradshaw from Impact Community Services for her inspiring talk on Respectful Relationships, and the Bundaberg Aquatic Centre team for their wonderful hospitality.

Women of Bundy is about creating a safe, welcoming space where women can connect, build confidence and support one another.

When women support women, amazing things happen! 💙🌸

To help cover the costs of running the program, a $15.00 participation fee will apply for future Women of Bundy sessions. If you're in a position to make an additional donation, it would be greatly appreciated and will help us continue providing this valuable community program.

✨ Stay tuned for details of our next Women of Bundy session—we'd love to see you there!

🥊 What a fantastic start to Term 3! 😀

Week 1 of our Mighty Mitts Boxing Program was a great success, with 33 little Mighty Mitts Warriors attending our two sessions at The Y School Bundaberg campus.

It was wonderful to welcome back so many of our Mighty Mitts families and to see some new faces joining our community for the first time. Thank you to all the parents and carers for your continued support.

A big thank you to Mighty Mitts Facilitator Leon, who had all the children actively engaged in a discussion about Integrity and what it looks like from their point of view.

The children shared some fantastic ideas about integrity, including being honest, doing the right thing even when no one is watching, taking responsibility for their actions, showing kindness, and treating others with respect. It was great to see everyone contributing, listening to each other, and sharing their thoughts with confidence.

We're looking forward to another term of building confidence, respect, resilience, self-discipline and positive friendships—one session at a time.

Welcome to the Mighty Mitts family! 💙🥊Wishing all of our Mighty Mitts Warriors and their families a fantastic Term 3!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support me on Friday night at the Fred Brophy Boxing Troupe. Your encouragement and support meant the world.
My good mate Luke from PCYC and I stepped into the ring against two very experienced and intimidating opponents. Both stood over 6'2", with one towering at 6'6". They were strong, lean, and highly skilled, and we knew from the opening bell we were in for a tough fight.
We may have been outclassed, but we never backed down. We stood our ground, gave everything we had, and fought until the final bell.
That's exactly what Luke and I teach through the PCYC Youth Programs and Mighty Mitts Boxing Qld Inc.—courage, resilience, respect, and never giving up, even when the odds are against you. We believe in leading by example, and Friday night was an opportunity to do just that.
Thank you to Fred Brophy and his team, our opponents, and everyone who cheered us on. We'll keep doing what we love—supporting the children, young people, and families of Bundaberg, one session at a time. 🥊❤️
